Discover the wonderful Mookie Island!

We are delighted to present Mooki Island! This unique children's game is the fruit of a wonderful collaboration: the boundless imagination of Florian Sirieix (co-designer of Imaginarium and Zoo Run) and the enchanting artistic talent of Seppyo (Unlock: Kids Legendary Stories, Refuge).

Mooki Island is a quick little game for 2 players that young and old alike will fall in love with. Collect as many Mookies as you can from each family to win trophies! Will you manage to get the shiny Legendary Mookie cards? And above all... watch out for that silly spider who's just waiting for a chance to play a trick on you!

The game’s very simple rules (each player draws a card and places it in front of themselves) mean that young players will quickly discover the way a majority collection game works. Game after game, they will turn into little tacticians and surprise their parents!

Florian Sirieix, the game's designer, says: “Shortly before the Cannes 2024 games festival, I wanted to create a game to play with my 4-year-old son. We love playing games together, as soon as we have 5 minutes and a bit of free table space. Inspired by his passions, particularly Pokémon, I designed this game within these constraints. When I presented it to several children's game publishers, the feedback was positive, but Scorpion Masqué really fell in love with it. They immediately offered to work with me, and for me, well, it was a no-brainer! Today, my son can’t wait for the game to be released... and neither can I!”

Manuel Sanchez, Scorpion Masqué Head of Studio, adds: "We literally fell under the spell of Florian's idea: a game for 2 designed to captivate children aged 4 to 10. Mooki Island is THE game that will bring parents and children together to share unique and special moments. With such a rich theme, we needed an artist capable of bringing this universe to life with talent and creativity... and we found her!”

Seppyo, the game's illustrator, shares: "When Scorpion Masqué contacted me about this project, I was over the moon! When I was younger, I'd always dreamed of becoming a character designer, and this game gave me the perfect opportunity to dive deep into a world in the style of Pokémon or Digimon. Imagining over 60 little monsters - cute, impressive, original and sometimes evolving - was a huge challenge, but so exciting! Despite having to meet certain criteria, I had a lot of creative freedom and had a blast bringing them to life. A huge thank you for this incredible experience!”

Mooki Island is a game by Florian Sirieix, published by Scorpion Masqué and illustrated by Seppyo. It will be available in shops in Summer 2025 for $12.99 USD. Mooki Island is a game for 2 players, ideal for ages 4 to 10. A game lasts about 10 minutes.
