NOW! On your cards. Get set. Discard!

We are proud to present NOW!, a game designed by Silvano Sorrentino and, for the first time, co-published with the Randolph studio (CDSK, Romi Rami, Miller Zoo…).


 
NOW! is a competitive card game where everyone plays at the same time! Your goal? Discard your cards as quickly as possible in search of the perfect number. Be careful, you’ll go through your deck quicker than you think!!
Do you think you have the right card? Shout NOW! Get as close as possible to the target values (without exceeding them!) to get them. Gain as many points as possible while denying your opponents of them. And above all, don't let the frenzy make you lose your cool!


 
Manuel Sanchez, studio head of Scorpion Masqué, tells us: “The central mechanism of NOW! is super original! You can discard as many cards as you want to find the perfect card... But will you find it? Is it really a good idea to go through all your cards with the crazy hope that the next card will be the right one? And when we think we've found the perfect card, we get pipped by our neighbor... NOW! is a real little party game full of twists and turns and laughter. “
 
Joël Gagnon, studio head of Randolph adds: “The first time I played NOW!, I fell in love instantly. I was immediately charmed by the simple idea of only seeing one card at a time and discarding your deck in search of a better card. It's a perfect metaphor for the Push Your Luck mechanism, that succeeds in tripping up our judgment. When the Scorpion Masqué team offered us the opportunity to work with them, as  two studios, on this project, we were super excited! We joined forces to give as much love as possible to this little game.”
 
Silvano Sorrentino, the designer of NOW! adds, “Working with the people at Randolph has been a real pleasure. It's easy to simplify a big game, but they were able to work with me to make a simple, original game even simpler, while adding layers of little ideas that make it enjoyable to play. I really hope this is just the first of many games we create together!”
 
NOW! is a game by Silvano Sorrentino, illustrated by Fanny Saulnier and published by Scorpion Masqué & Randolph studios. It will be available April 17th at the price of $14.99 USD and can be played by 3 to 8 players, from 8 years old and up. A game lasts approximately 15 minutes.
